When in the French Quarter in New Orleans visit a tucked away little shop called the Boutique Du Vampyre on St Ann street. They will gift you a card that will give you access to a speak easy where you can get themed cocktails in a really olden days style, laid back environment and access to one of the popular balconies on Bourbon Street. When you get the card you take it to Fritzel’s European Jazz Club on Bourbon for a really authentic New Orleans experience complete with sounds of jazz coming up from the bar below. A truly unforgettable experience that I’m so glad we stumbled across while wandering through such a city so full of soul and wanderlust and beauty. There is no city quite like New Orleans anywhere else in the world.
