Hire a car and make the effort to take a visit to the Seven Coloured Earths of Charamel. The coloured earth is a result of ancient volcanic activity and due to the leaching of basalt, no vegetation grows on the earth. It is such a stark contrast to the tropical forests surrounding it and is a definite highlight of the trip.
