We were meant to travel to italy on 29th Feb 2020. Due to covid we had to make the hardest decision we ever had to make on the 28th Feb and due to the fact it was a change of mind not a cancellation we lost our life savings. We shed a lot of tears knowing we would never go to italy, but we reminded ourselves that at least we are alive and safe together and not stranded in a foreign country. Instead we didnt think about the negatives and were able to savage up the last of both our pays and buy a last miniute 14 day cruise to new Zealand which left on 29th Feb. We jumped on the cruise we had no idea were we were going we had no idea what to do. But we went with it and it was the best time of our lives. It was sponta pious we got lost and came across things we wouldn't have seen if we planned. My tip is not to plan go with the flow you will love it more. I'm a control freak so it was hard but I'm so glad I did be adevntourous and spontaneous it was amazing. We went on random excursions
