Hoi An

Xin chào! This is the historical site of My Son Sanctuary in Hoi An Vietnam – a 17th century UNESCO protected heritage filled with magnificent ancient ruins passed down many generations. Experiencing this majestic wonder was simply breathtaking. It traces back to the ancient Champa civilization from southern Vietnam centuries ago – a time that saw the rise of the richest cultural exchange in the region, strengthened by the spread of Chamic and Sanskrit languages and the Arts through a diverse mix of culture. The intricate Architecture truly reflects the beauty of tradition at the time, hidden by dense rainforest growth. I love the fact that History allows us to discover our ancestry, reflecting upon our heritage and diverse traditions of humanity from eons past. It was home to families – built by hardworking people, to teach, inspire, nurture, educate, and grow. A priceless piece of history to reflect on our modern life and how humanity cope with challenges in the past and the present!
