Stourhead Gardens, Wiltshire

The gardens, opened for the first time in 1750 and were entirely designed by Henry Hoare II (nicknamed as “the magnificent”) to look like out of a painting. Exotic trees and different architectural styles combines together to create a timeless atmosphere. The best time to visit is autumn (late September to early November). During this period the gardens have one of the best foliage of the UK. Colours in the park are so vivid that look almost fluorescent, ranging from strong yellow to purple all across the garden, with a spectacular view all over the main lake. It’s the perfect place to feel all the fall vibes.
